I'm not on my last legs, says cancer-striken Robin Gibb

New Orleans Sun (ANI) Friday 3rd February, 2012

Robin Gibb has quashed rumours suggesting that he is on his "last legs", assuring his fans that he is recovering well and is winning the cancer battle.

Recent reports had suggested that the 'Bee Gees' star was bedridden and frail after undergoing chemotherapy to treat the disease, but he's taken to his official blog to set the record straight.

"I want to take the opportunity to say I feel better than I've done in a long time, and that I'm not on my last legs as some newspapers make it appear!" the Daily Express quoted his blog.

The 62-year-old singer also shared his pride after singing trio 'The Soldiers' paid him a surprise visit to hand him a gold record certifying high sales of their recent collaboration, to raise money for the armed forces.

"Gary, Richie and Ryan of The Soldiers came to see me a couple of days ago and they presented me with a gold disc," he added. (ANI)
